Why Do We Celebrate World Book Day?
- World Book Day is a day that is set aside every year to celebrate reading, books, authors and illustrators.
- This special event is celebrated all over the world.
- World Book Day will be held on Thursday 3rd March 2016.
- When you get your book token, all you need to do is to take it to your local bookshop and swap it for one of the ten (exclusive, new and completely free) £1 World Book Day books!
- Or, if you’d prefer, you can use your book token to get £1 off any full price book instead!
